What Is This Research Study?

Helix Biomedics is conducting a clinical research study for adults diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and emphysema. This study evaluates new treatments designed to reduce breathlessness and improve lung function.

Adults between 40 and 80 years of age

COPD Diagnosed
Physician-confirmed diagnosis of COPD, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema

FEV1 ≥ 30% predicted
Post-bronchodilator FEV1 greater than or equal to 30% of predicted value

Smoker or Ex-Smoker
Current or former smoker with at least 10 pack-years smoking history
